From 2015 to 2023, our team provided sustained strategic and operational support to public institutions in the Central African Republic during a critical period of political transition. We worked closely with the former Transitional Government and subsequently with the newly elected authorities, contributing to the identification and definition of key state priorities and supporting efforts to strengthen institutional governance.
Our engagement also included the evaluation of a program designed to support political dialogue in the country, implemented by the Humanitarian Dialogue Centre. Following this assessment, we continued to assist the local team through regular remote exchanges and twice-yearly field visits, ensuring consistent guidance and programmatic alignment over time.
In parallel, we facilitated mediation and dialogue with armed groups to enable humanitarian access. Through these efforts, we helped secure the necessary security guarantees to allow Ministry of Health teams to reach vulnerable populations and carry out vaccination campaigns in areas that would otherwise have remained inaccessible.
At the municipal level, we delivered technical and institutional advisory services to the City Hall of Bangui, supporting local authorities in strengthening administrative capacities and improving the delivery of public services.
Through this long-term engagement—spanning national institutions, humanitarian coordination, and municipal governance—we contributed to advancing political dialogue and enabling life-saving health interventions.
